The reserve of Elysium
—
Annual yield on staked ELYS, compounded three times a day on a schedule no one can change. Stake →
Stake
Your balance grows at the end of every epoch, in place, with no transaction and no lock. The reward is a fixed share of what is staked, halving every ninety days.
Bond
Give HYPE to the treasury and receive new ELYS over five days. The price comes from the protocol's own debt, not from a market that can be pushed around in one block.
Redeem
Burn ELYS and take that share of the whole reserve, at any moment. It is the only door out of the treasury, and it is open to everybody.
Stake ELYS
Balance — ELYS · staked — sELYS
sELYS is your stake: one sELYS is one staked ELYS, and the balance rebases. Unstaking has no delay and no fee.

Three epochs a day. The rate halves every 270 epochs — ninety days — down to a floor of 0.0625 % an epoch, and nothing can lift it back up.

You receive — ELYS, released over five days
The HYPE goes into the reserve and never leaves it except through a redemption. A bond can never mint ELYS for less than the backing already behind the supply — the treasury checks the HYPE it was paid, and refuses otherwise.
Your bonds
No bonds.
Redeem at the floor
Burn ELYS, take that share of the whole reserve. No delay, no queue, no permission — and it works the same whether one person uses it or everybody does.

The book
| Reserve | — |
| Backing per ELYS | — |
| Share of the market cap backed | — |
| Brought in by bonds | — |
| Minted for stakers | — |
Staking is the only ELYS minted without backing, which is why the backing per token is published here and not in a blog post. A bond raises it. A rebase lowers it. Both are visible the moment they happen.
